We took our flight home from Rome Italy Sunday November 6, 2011. We took a shuttle from our hotel in Rome after eating a breakfast similar to the breakfasts we used to experience while living in Argentina. Wonderful flaky croissants lightly sugared and fruits, yogarts, juices, dry cereals. Our hotel was a 4 star and had the marble and Travertine tile like the home we lived in while in Argentina, it had a "bede" toilet like in Argentina. It felt like home away from home for us. I loved the open balcony, we slept with the door open part of the night. Our international flight to New York City took 9 hours with a 2 hr lay over stay in New York. We landed in Salt Lake at 11:00 P.M (4 hour flight),we then took a shuttle (prepaid) to home around midnight. Chiquita was alone in the house, landon had just gone to work at 7 p.m. He had the fireplace on for her and her bed was in his room. He took good care of her. She was so excited to see us, we had to play with her for a bit before we went to bed. We unpacked the next day. Bill and I took care of some things at home like opening up 2 weeks worth of mail and other odd things. I spend the next 2 days doing laundry, cleaning house and getting ready to go back to work the following wednesday. IT WAS A SPECTACULAR TRIP, ONE I WILL NEVER FORGET.
