Feb 26, 2009-thursday

Zoe Coquette had a party at her house. We had refreshments and visited. She had her psychologist friend read our handwriting and analized our personalitys by our handwriting. It was alot of fun. Then we each had brought things that we no longer use in our homes and traded with one another. The Argentine people really know how to have a party. These ladies were so much fun to be with. This is a picture we had taken at the end of the party.

March 4,2009-my birthday

Today it was raining in Argentina all day. So I could not go excercise or have fun in the sun. I got a call from Landon, Ashley, Sharae and mom to wish me happy birthday. Then at 2pm me and my friends (Andrea Spannaus, Zoe Coquet) went to lunch at the Sushi club. It put some sunshine in my day. Then Bill came home with 12 red roses and a date to the movies we saw "Bride wars". It was cute and funny. So I had a great birthday and thanks to everyone who made it special for me.

The Castro Family

Bill baptised this family 35 years ago. They have remained active in the church and were so happy to see Bill again. He has been keeping in touch with them.

This is our fabulous rental-ha ha!!!

A Costarican sunset (how romantic!!!). This was the end of our Catamaran tour.

Catamaran tour

We arrived at 10 and had lunch at noon on the sail boat. We sailed to a nice succluded cove and snorkeled (the water was not clear, so we could not see the fish). While sailing back to shore, we saw mantarays jumping out of the water. We were told by the crew that this was their mating season. This was a new experience and once again-we saw more animals!!!! While heading back we enjoyed a beautiful Costarican sunset-WOW.

"Salud" Toasting us.

Bill and I enjoying lunch after swimming in the hotels pool. We also were entertained by watching Iguanas running in the grass.

We had to take pictures of these Coatis

They love to beg for food. And we were glad to get some pictures of any animal.

Continental Divide-

We are right in the misty "cloud forest" looking down to where the water drains into the Atlantic Ocean, the other side runs into the Carribean ocean. STEPS TO THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE.

more jungles!!!

Searching and searching for any kind of animal in these forests. The only thing we saw was a few birds.

Monteverde Rain Forest

We had to take some pretty rough roads to get to the entrance of this rain forest. Here we are in our funky rental car (it had tons of squeeks in it). On top of the mountain. The views were great.

Great pic Bill!!

I am just loving the beach!!!

The water was a little cool at first, but once you get in it is great. Nice beautiful sunny day-and all is GOOD.

Barahma Bulls were everywhere

Watching the holer monkeys

Watching the Holer monkeys!!!

Early in the morning at 6a.m we heared the monkeys in the trees. We went for a hike to try and find them. There were around 15-20 monkeys in the tree tops just outside our hotel door. We spent a couple of hours watching them swinging from tree to tree and eating leaves. One mom had her baby on her back, it was so cute. We were so excited to finally see some animals.

Enjoying the sunset!!!

We left Arenal and drove north to the beaches. Arrived at another hotel and then took a walk at sunset along the beach. It was beautiful.
