EASTER EGG HUNT WITH THE KIDS JUST BEFORE I FLEW BACK TO UTAH.
DIEGO AND AUBREY LOOKING FOR EASTER EGGS
On your mark, get set, GO... We hid easy eggs for Diego. He was more interested in having one egg in each hand and running. The concept of putting them in the basket was not his idea of easter egg hunting. As for Aubrey, she was nice to let her little brother look for the easy ones while she spotted ones that were more difficult to find. Each egg had a candy surprise inside. Aubrey said this was a good practice for the "Cook easter egg hunt" at the reunion the end of April.
CUPCAKES FOR AUBREY
I promised Aubrey that I would buy some special cupcakes because she loves to bake so much. I ordered some specialty cupcakes from Wendy Stevenson (who is Craigs friends wife). She makes them and has her own store in Mesa, I introduced Aubrey to Wendy and asked it she would like a baking partner sometime in the near future. I think it would be nice for Aubrey to see how a cooking business runs. Aubrey wants to be a gourmet chef someday. She loves to bake and does a really good job. The cupcakes pictured are so big, we had to cut in fourths because they are so rich. We got almond joy, double chocolate, snickerdoodles and coconut.
BATHTIME WITH DIEGO
DIEGO LOVES TO SWING
CLOSE-UP SHOTS OF DIEGO
THE LAST THING WE DID AT THE PARK...GO DOWN THE SLIDE
Diego loved the slide, at 17 months toddlers do not understand the concept if they go on their own they will fall and get hurt. Diego was driven and wanted to go by himself. I was at the top and Devin held onto him at the bottom and lowered him safely. He was quick so you had to be one step ahead of him. In the one picture I was going to go down with him, but the slide was HOT so instead turned around and got off. It was fun.
