LANDON WORKING IN OUR GARDEN

We are growing carrots, green onions, squash, beets, cabbage, corn, tomatoes, strawberries tomatillos, raspberries, blackberries and some herbs. I have harvested some tomatoes, raspberries and strawberries. It is so exciting to go pick vegtables and fruit that you have created, it gives you satisfaction in knowing you could live off your garden if you had too. I think next year we will do alot better. But for our first year we did pretty good. It is growing fast.

GIRLS DAY.

We thought it would be fun to go out to lunch with the sisters we visit teach instead of just having a regular day of visiting teaching so, we went to a great place called "ZUPPA'S". We each got a sandwich and half salad, which came with a choclate covered strawberry. It was so delicious!! I can not wait to go back. Pictured are the sister we Visit teach -(left)-Kathy Devino, Charlene Bennett, My companion (orange top) Lori Nixon and me. It was a fun lunch day with the girls.

I AM CRAZY FOR MY CRICUT.

I bought my cricut last August of 09 and really did not use it much, until I found out that you needed to have "Design studio" or the "Gypsy". I recently bought the Design studio and just love it now I can design so many things to cut out on my cricut. I signed up for a class at Hobby Lobby. I found out I was the only one taking it, so the instructor came to my home to teach me. Pretty good deal-huh! I learned so much and she got me so excited about all the things I could create and do with my cricut. I happened to be at Roberts Crafts one day getting some glue. GUESS WHAT!! They had their Gypsy's on sale for 124.00, they are usually 299.00 so I got one. Now I can take it with me and design whatever I want, then plug it into my cricut and cute out the design from my gypsy. Next, I am going to take the etching class and learn how to etch on glass. I love this hobby, and I can design cards, and pages for my scrapebooks, my new thing is making vinyl phrases for my walls. I love it!!!!
