Dennis and Margaret S. Lifferth(first counselor of the general primary presidency)
Sister Lifferths husband works with LDS Family Services with the commissioner Larry Crenshaw. It was nice to visit with them, they asked us all about our ex-pat experience. She was so sweet and Gloria and I got this great picture with all three of us. I feel like we have rubbed shoulders with the best of the best since our experience in Argentina. I feel so blest to have had these experiences and have met wonderful people.

DECEMBER 2,2009-COUNSELING CONFERENCE BANQUET
Bill was in a seminar in Salt Lake from Dec 2-4. Tonight was a Banquet to honor all the ex-pats that served in foreign countries. I met him at the Radisson at 5:30p.m and the Banquet started at 6 and went to 7:30p.m. It was so nice to see all of our ex-pat friends. Nic and Gloria Aste were in Santiago, Chili. The Browns were in Mexico, Paul and Danett Garrett were in Brazil. The men spoke to everyone regarding our experiences. We were acknowledged by everyone with a standing ovation. I was really shocked by their appreciation of our sacrifice by living away from home and our families. Bill did a great job speaking and was very sweet to me by thanking me for supporting him. It was a lovely evening. I came home and Bill stayed for the next couple of days to finish the seminar.

SAYING GOOD-BYE FOR NOW
MALL MADNESS-THE CHRISTMAS SEASON IS HERE...
After the movies we took the kids to the mall to see Santa Claus and walk around. Ian loved to ride on the escalator so grandpa took him over and over again. Asher and Ian loved riding the rides and were happy even if you did not turn them on. Neither of them were ready to sit on Santa's lap, so Asher shook his hand and Ian smiled from a safe distance-maybe next year Rae.
CHARLES DICKENS-"THE CHRISTMAS CAROL" IN 3-D
On monday the 30th we went to the movies to take the kids to see the christmas carol. Ian made it through to the first ghost after that he was scared. I rocked Asher off and on. We got through the movie the last ones in their seats were Sharae and Bill. We liked the movie but all agreed it is best for older children and adults. MERRY CHRISTMAS-OH HUMBUG!!!!!
