It is hard to believe that Landon is Ashley's little brother.  He has grown into such a handsome young man.  And for Ashley -she is just gorgeous!

Today September 30,2012 We took the U-Haul back and Ash went to the bank then we went to lunch at Garcia's Mexican restaurant and then went to the movies at Station Park in Farmington and saw the movie "Looper". It was just OK. When we got home....

Ashley decided to see how much she remembered from her piano playing days.  She actually did very well.  She said "It is like riding a bike".

It was wonderful to hear her play all her songs from when she was at home in High School  My favorite was of course, Yanny and some of her music from her piano recitals at UNLV.

I sat on the couch and just enjoyed the music.  We are really going to enjoy Ashley being here.  We can all work together and help her get through her divorce.  Her divorce will be final on November 8, 2012.  She is now entering into a new chapter in her life.  We will miss Jessie, he has become a part of our family for the past 12 years.  We still love home and will always have fond memories of him.  Ashley will have her family to help her through this and she will be fine.  It will just take time.  I think playing the piano will be very therapeutic for her.

Landon and Bill flew to Colorado Springs to help Ashley move here to Utah and live with us for awhile. We will try to give her some family support during this difficult time in her life. When things get tough, it is always wonderful to have your family. She got a nursing job in the ER at the same hospital were I work. It will be great to go to lunch together. The best part is she is only 10 minutes to work, this is the closest her job has ever been for her. It will be fun to have her with us.

They arrived on Friday Sept 27, 2012 to the Denver airport.  Ashley picked them up and they drove to Monument and loaded all of Ashley's things into this big truck.  They worked hard all day.  Then they left early Saturday morning Sept 28th and drove to our home in Ogden Utah.  They made great time and pulled in around 4p.m.

We have more than enough cars at our house now.  Six cars and only 4 drivers.  I am glad we have enough space for parking.

Bill was a great sport and drove the U-haul the full 8-10 hours, thank heavens it had cruise control.

Landon is "ONE AMAZING MAN" before he left to get Ash he had maybe received 4-5 hours of sleep in 3 days.  Then he did much of the heavy moving since Bill has bad hips right now.  He did this work and not once did he complain.  He is not happy that Ash is getting a divorce but is anxious to spend some quality time with his sister and help her get through this difficult time in her life.

Mom called some men in the ward to come and help Ashley's things into the house.  We had 5-6 guys here who were such great help.  I did not get a picture of them.  Some neighbors came down and just helped.  There small children did also and helped with small things.  The kids were well behaved and happy to serve us today.

Chiquita was funny, she knows Ash well and greeted her and then looked around as if she was looking for Jessie too.  We all noticed it, Chiquita loves Jessie because he has always been nice to her.  She has always known that Ash and Jess are always together. Ashley said "Chiquita is looking for Jessie"

The kids were determined to get everything done on Saturday night, they stayed up late.  Landon was a trooper to stay up with Ash and help set up her computer and electronic stuff and set up her bed.

Ash and Landon have really enjoyed there time together. One thing about it, I do not have Lazy kids.

It took 4 strong guys to move Ashley Computer desk into the library room with her large chair.  Landon set up her computer and she organized everything she needs.  She has a wonder MAC computer so I am excited to try it.  That is what I want for my next computer.

ZUMBA BABY... THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!

I went out to the garden today and this is what I picked.  We have so many tomatoes and zucchinis.  We also have tomatillos but have not done anything with them. I will start giving everything away to friends and neighbors.  I will take the zucchini into a lady at work so she can make zucchini bread, I have already made bread and fresh out of ideas at this point.  I wished I had more family around to share our harvest with.

After shopping at the new "City Creek mall" in Salt Lake we ate a late lunch at the Cheese cake factory.

Landon bought some new clothes at Nordstroms for school.

We sat outside and the weather was beautiful.  I had a delicious Asian Chicken salad and Landon had Jambalaya chicken and shrimp.  This was also our dinner since we ate at 4PM.  We took cheese cake home for later.  I shared my caramel turtle cheesecake with Bill and Landon got Cookie dough cheesecake and took it to work the next day.

I love spending time with Landon and I know I will look back to the wonderful times and memories we had together.

Tessas baby blessing- Sept 2nd, sunday 2012

It was so nice to see Stuart, he just got back from his hiking trip in Peru where he went to Manchu-Pichu. Danielle and Brandon moved from Salt Lake to Kaysville.  So Bill and I went to their baby blessing.

I am a great aunt several times now.  Tessa is 3 mos old and she smiles a lot when people hold her and talk to her.

Danielle, Brandon and Tessa, this makes 3 girls for them.  Stuart did a bunch a yard work for them while he was staying with them for the week of the baby's blessing.  Stuart you did a great job, there back yard was nice.

Danielle had this fun drink called a "lime rickey" you put favored syrup in a glass with sprite and ice.  It was fun and she says her kids love it.
