Mom and I went to the Brigham City Temple on Saturday-October 20, 2012.

The Brigham City Temple was just dedicated the last part of September, 2012.

It is a very small temple and endowment sessions are by appointment only.  I tried to make an appointment  but they were full, so mom and I went anyway and got right in for the 12:30 p.m session

Hence, the erected date on the temple.  I told mom we just have to take a picture at this spot.  Now, I am glad I did.

This fountain sits in front of the temple and in the back ground is the tabernacle.

My mom is so sweet, I really loved spending this day with her going through an endowment session.

These pictures are taken of the side of the temple.  It is really beautiful.

When we had down our endowment session, we drove along highway 89 and ate a late lunch, early dinner at the famous "Maddox restaurant" known in Utah for their beef and chicken.  Mom and I split the fried chicken dinner.  They take the skin off the chicken and fry it.  It is sooooo good and the meat is soooooo tender.   The rolls had a raspberry butter spread.  We got a homemade coconut pie and took it home to share with Bill, Ash and Landon.  On the way home we saw a field of Elk and stopped by the side of the road to watch them for a few minutes.  It was a fun day with my mom.
