Today (Saturday Oct 23,2010) Bill and I completed the harvest of our garden and pulled everything up. We are suppose to have a freeze hit on tues the 26th. So we are going to wrap newspaper around our green tomatoes and as they ripen we can still enjoy the wonderful taste of garden tomatoes as they ripen. We are trying to learn all we can about gardening, it is alot of work-but worth it. It was cold today around 50's and it rained most of the day. We took advantage of a few hours of slight drizzle to do the garden. We pulled up some of our new potatoes to put in our roast for sunday. We left the cabage, carrots and most of the red potatoes in the garden.
