Spotlight from McKay-Dee Hospital (where I work) This was in the April Newsletter
Cindy Cook started working in Float Pool in November
2009 as a registered nurse. “I love new, challenging opportunities
and being here is a step in another positive
direction for me,” she said. “I love nursing because I enjoy helping
others.” She also says that there is always a way to positively
influence others. She chose Float Pool because of the challenge
it presents, keeping her constantly on her toes. Cindy has been
married 32 years to Bill, and they have four children and five
grandchildren.. She earned her associate’s degree of nursing
from San Juan Regional College in Farmington, New Mexico. She
has been an RN since 1995 and has worked in Las Vegas Nevada
and Mesa, Arizona. She started her career in cardiac nursing
and long-term critical care. Two and a half years ago, she took
a sabbatical leave from nursing to live in Argentina with her husband
while he worked for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to open a LDS
Family Services office in Buenos Aires. She enjoys snow skiing, scrapbooking , and keeping
up with my blog as my journal. She loves to travel and try new foods.
