WE LOVE YOU -ASHLEY AND JESSE.

We had a great Christmas with you both. Have a safe flight back to Arizona. We will miss you and look forward to our next time together.

Landon is always ready and waiting for everyone else.

Landon helped Ashley all the time,he loves to teach people and he is very patient. A few times the hills were steep and Landon slid backwards with Ashley snow boarding in front of him. Ashley's bottom was really sore from falling back alot. Landon was trying to help her not to freak out on the slopes, it is scarey when you haven't skied for a while. We all tried to stay together coming down the mountain.

Saturday Dec 26,2009

We went to Snow Basin(20 min from our home)at 9:00a.m to spend a day skiing. It was great snow,and cold but the sun was shinning. After a few runs we all felt warmed up. Ashley did great for her first time in 13 years. Jesse skied like he has been doing it all along. Landon is fantastic with his jumps he makes it all look so easy. Bill didn't fall once but as for me I fell a few times. We had a fun day and had lunch in the Lodge. The Lodges are beautiful they had been decorated for the Olympics so they are really nice. We got home around 3:30p.m with sore bottoms and legs.

After dinner while mom and Ash cleaned the kitchen. The men all played the GAMES. Landon is already an expert. No one can outmatch him, (it is all that guitar playing he has done for years). Then afterwards, we went to the movies and saw "Sherlock Holmes" and had to eat some more. So we got pop and popcorn, Ashley says "it is a must at the movies". Then we came back home and got ready for our ski adventure on Saturday.

CHRISTMAS DINNER

We had our traditional dinner-Turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, sweet potatoes, dressing with craisins, green tossed salad and a fruit salad with whipped cream. It was all delicious and festive on moms Christmas china. In the meantime, we gave Chiquita a raw bone to enjoy. Afterwards she was content and lounged in Landons "love sac".

We are so glad we get to spend Christmas with Ashley and Jesse. Landon finished his finals at BYU Rexburg and came home on Dec 17,2009. We will miss this Christmas being with Sharae and Devin.

FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD...

I love this time of year when you can bake all the sweet smelling goodies that we all love at Christmas time: Cinnamon rolls, carmel choclate pretzels, sugar cookies, and all the things you get from your neighbors. We had so much even with the things I made and gave away. But the famous hit of all are the choclate, carmel pretzels.
