Sharae and her family came down to see mom Cook, Betty jo and Allison on friday before they left to go home-she is so sweet and thoughtful ( they were on their way to Provo to a family reunion on Joes side of the family

Sharae and Allison hugging when Sharae came around 1130 am.

Mom Cook had not seen Charlotte who is 11 months.  She thought she was a doll.  Charlotte never cry's when she goes to people. Charlotte is looking at the ceiling fan and is very interested in watching it go around and around.

Sharae with her grandma Cook and her kids.  Ian is 7, Asher is 5 and Charlotte is almost 1 yr old.

FOUR GENERATIONS-BILL, MOM, SHARAE AND BABY CHARLOTTE.

FOUR GENERATIONS WITH ALL THE KIDS.  MOM COOK GAVE SHARAES FAMILLY THEIR CHRISTMAS FROM 2013.  SHE GAVE THEIR FAMILY A WONDERFUL BOOK WITH HER VOICE REGARDED AS SHE READS "THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS".  I HELD ASHER ON MY LAP WHILE WE LISTENED TO THE STORY.  HE LOVED IT, AND HERE HE IS HOLDING THE BOOK, HE WOULD NOT LET IT GO.  WHAT A TREASURE FROM MOM.

IT IS ALL ABOUT FAMILY.  JOE THANKS FOR NOT ACTING GOOFY IN OUR FAMILY PICTURE.

LANDON HAD JUST GOT OFF FROM HIS NIGHT SHIFT AND WAS TIRED BUT WANTED TO VISIT FAMILY.

SUNFLOWER

Sharae gave me some sun flower seeds and I planted them some time ago, this is how big the plant is now.

It is about ready to bloom into its flower, you can see the bud in the middle.

After the parade we went to the cheesecake factory for lunch around 1130 a.m.  We had a wonderful lunch and we all splurged and had cheese cake.  Of course,  the one I got was cream cheese carrot cake.  Believe it or not it was 1500 calories.  I have only been eating around 1200-1300 calories a day since march.  So you can imagine I felt SUPER GUILTY. But it was delicious.  After, we came back to our home so mom Cook could take a nap so we could go to Heber at 6 p.m.  We bought tickets to "fiddlers and fireworks"  We had a barbeque, listened to pioneer fiddling and rode the Heber train to deer lake and watched fireworks across the lake.  The reflection was awesome.  It was a very fun evening.  We got home late midnight.  Mom Cook was a trooper and kept up very nicely.  It is amazing she is 87 years old and healthy and able to do as well as she does.  She does tire easily and her feet swell if she walks too much.

The days of 47 parade-July 24th in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Elder Uckdorf (first counselor in general presidency of the church) and his wife.

I liked this float a lot, the caterpillar went around on the float.

seeing the stage coach was cool

Betty jo and Allison enjoying the parade and it was an overcast day so the weather was cool and not too hot.

Mom wants to make sure she does not get too much sun.

Bill and I decided the day before to go with them since we had time off work.
We were thankful we brought our chairs to sit on.  The parade was a couple of hours long.

We are glad to be here to enjoy the parade also.

It is nice to be from a wonderful pioneer heritage.

On Sunday early afternoon mom Cook, Betty jo and Allison came for a visit

They had just attended a family reunion in Price Utah (on grandpa Cooks side of the family).  They wanted to stay for the days of 47 parade in Salt Lake on July 24th.  So they spent the 21st-26th with us in Ogden Utah.  Allison flew into Ogden on the 23rd and drove home with them on the 26th.  We had a very nice time with all of them.
