I Spent the good part of my day on Monday April 9th, 2012 pulling weeds in the front, side and backyard.

One day all of a sudden when I look outside I noticed my daffodils had bloomed.

After I cleared away weeds, debris and old grass, I noticed that my pansies where still there from last summer.

I bought this plant last year and it has done very well, I can not remember the name, it has buds that will soon flower.

After I weeded this area you could see the little purple flowers blooming.

Even my pots had flowers that were laying dormant through  the winter, began to bloom.

These are some of my favorite flowers blooming between the rocks in my rock garden.

The strawberry plants have begun to thrive this spring.

This area was full of dried shrubs and weeds, when I got through weeding  it, it was beautiful.

The rock garden with my purple flowers blooming like crazy.  It is vibrant with color.

This is the game of CAT and MOUSE or (DOG and CAT)

I had just taken Chiquita for a walk, when we got home the neighbors cat was in our yard.  Chiquita knows this cat and is Leary of her or should I say cautious.

The cat is very interested in playing with Chiquita and Chiquita only lets her so close and then she walks away.

As the cat approaches Chiquita she jumps off the rock to keep a safe distance.

When she feels she is at a safe distance she then turns around to watch the cat.

As Chiquita walks away she turns around and sure enough the cat is following her again.

I AM DONE-I do not like this game of "what do you call it again-"  Oh! that's right cat and dog.

EASTER SUNDAY- April 8th, 2012-On our way to the airport we stopped an d had dinner at "Maggianos".

We had a nice dinner, Ashley was supper excited about the desert.

Yes, this is the Cheesecake I adore.  This is all I wanted for my birthday.

Ashley shared with me and Jesse, I took a few bites and it was heavenly.  Then Ashley and Jess enjoyed the rest together.  After each bite they said "This is wonderful", or "It's amazing", or "This is soooo Good".

Savoring each and every bite to the last.

Mom and Ash outside the restaurant just before we said goodbye and I flew back to Utah.

Thanks mom for taking care of me and coming to be with me.

Ash and Jess, so happy to have had their Italian food and especially the cheesecake.

Ashley finally felt pretty good on Saturday April 7th so she got to open her presents from me, dad and Landon. Happy 30th Birthday Ashley.

Landon got Ashley a Life flight shirt from Primary Children s hospital

I really like this shirt.

Ashley and I went to the hospital were she works. She took me into the area she works in-recovery and same day surgery.

These are home in the neighborhood where Ashley and Jess live.

These are the deer we enjoyed watching while we ate dinner. The deer were very close to the house.
