WE WANT TO DO SOMETHING WITH THIS CAR-IT HAS BEEN AROUND FOREVER....

BILL AND I HAD A GREAT IDEA TO TAKE PHOTOS OF LANDONS NOVA AND SEND IT TO THE T.V SHOW "OVER-HAULIN". MAYBE WE WILL GET PICKED TO GET THIS CAR OVER-HAULED AS A SURPRISE TO LANDON. WE SENT IN A LETTER WITH PHOTOS TELLING ABOUT HOW LANDON IS WORKING HARD TO GET INTO PRE-MED AND HIS PASSION FOR SCHOOL AND THIS CAR THAT HE CAN NOT GIVE UP. WE WILL SEE IF WE GET PICKED FOR THE SHOW. IT WILL BE A LONG SHOT, BUT WE HAVE JUST AS MUCH OF A CHANCE AS ANYONE ELSE. BILL DID A GREAT SHOP WRITING UP SOME GREAT THINGS ABOUT LANDON. WE WILL KEEP YOU POSTED ON THE OUTCOME. landon is starting his fall semester full time and working 5 nights on and 5 off. He works hard and is always studying or picking up extra shifts to pay for his education. We are proud of him. Also, he goes into surgery with several different Doctors to watch the procedures. He especially enjoys Dr. Moesinger (general surgeon) who has taught Landon alot. Landon has seen alot of operations. Landon also goes to early morning seminars that the Dr's present the most recent one was about different types of tumors. Landon also has a new girlfriend named Kacie Keller she is very sweet and cute. They get along really well. Landon is hoping to graduate with his BS in social work next year and then take his MCap for med school. Landon is also a Teachers assistant at U Of U with Bills friend Scott Boyle, so he gets paid doing that also. He is very involved in the Social Work program and says it is much easier than the pre-med by a long shot. Landon has goog insights with people and I often go to him for advise if Bill isn't around. So Landon has several options for a career at this point. (LANDON GOING TO WORK ONE OF HIS NIGHT SHIFTS AT PRIMARYS CHILDREN HOSPITAL IN SLC).

It was great to have Sharaes family here to visited

first day of October 2011-Saturday

While walking to the park the neighbor boys shared their motorized car with Asher and Ian and let them go for a ride. We have very nice neighbors up and down our street. It is a very safe place for kids. Asher loved riding the pony and playing on the slide and Ian loved playing in the sand. Sharae and I took the kids to the park between the morning session of conference and the afternoon session. They loved to swing. I could finally do "under dog" with Ian, last time he visited he was too afraid. Asher could not go high enough and just laughed so hard. The boys were good while we all watched conference. The weather was beautiful and you could feel fall in the air and leaves are starting to change colors.

CHUCKY-CHEESE

Friday Sept 30th, 2011 the kids wanted to go to Chucky-Cheese. We had pizza and drinks and the kids played on some of the rides with their tokens, they won tickets and at the end they bought great big suckers. We were there probably several hours. It was nice to just let them play. It was fun, we were going to see the Lion King in 3-D but missed the show time.

THEY SET UP THEIR CAMP IN A NICE CLEAN AREA. BILL SAID THEY HAD TO LOCK THE FOOD UP IN A CERTAIN AREA SO THE BEARS COULD NOT GET TO THE FOOD AT NIGHT. IT LOOKS GOOD GUYS, THEY HAD A FUN TIME TOGETHER. LANDON GOT TO RELAX AFTER HIS LAST SEMESTER AND HIS MANY GRAVE YARD SHIFTS AT THE HOSPITAL.
THIS WAS THE CAMPSITE AT NIGHT, THE SKY IS LITE UP SO BEAUTIFULLY. I AM GLAD I WAS NOT THERE. THE ONLY WAY I WILL CAMP IS IF I AM IN A CAMPER. THEY SAID THERE WERE NO BEARS AND THAT THEY SLEPT GOOD.

WE DROVE TO THE GRAND TETONS BY JACKSON HOLE, IT IS BEAUTIFUL.

BILL AND LANDON LEFT AT 9:30 A.M ON TUESDAY MORNING THE 16TH TO GO CAMPING AND FLY FISHING IN WYOMING. LANDON WANTED TO TAKE HIS 1 WEEK SCHOOL BREAK AND GO TO ARIZONA. AFTER WE ENCOURAGED HIM TO STAY HERE, BILL CAME UP WITH A PLAN TO SPEND SOME QUALITY TIME WITH HIS SON, OF COURSE THAT IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA. BILL OFFERED GOING DOWN THE SNAKE RIVER IN A RAFT, BUT LANDON WAS MORE EXCITED ABOUT FISHING. WHEN LANDON WAS A BYU IDAHO GOING TO SCHOOL HE LEARNED HOW TO MAKE FLY'S FOR FLY FISHING, HE WANTED TO GO TRY THEM OUT. BILL GOT THE FISHING RODS AND THEY PACKED PLENTY OF FOOD AND CAMPING STUFF AND DROVE IN LANDONS TRUCK TO WYOMING FOR 4-5 DAYS.
